Jeff talks about the nomination that Schooled (Codename: Winger #2) received in the Goodreads M/M Members' Choice Best of 2018 awards. Christmas movies are quickly discussed as Jeff & Will wrote about their favorites in blog posts this week. The Kennedy Center Honors, featuring Adam Lambert making Cher cry, is also called out.

The review section kicks off with the Netflix film Dumplin'. Will reviews Peppermint Spiced Omega by Susi Hawke and Better Not Pout by Annabeth Albert. Jeff reviews Game Changer by Rachel Reid.

The reading of 2018 is recapped, including a look at trends and favorites for Jeff & Will. There's also a peek into their plans for 2019.

Jeff kicks off the review portion of the podcast talking about Ravensong by TJ Klune and narrated by Kirt Graves as well as the short story sequel, Lovesong.

Switching over to holiday stories, Will reviews A Cowboy's Christmas Luck by KC Burn and Christmas Angel by Eli Easton. Jeff discusses Sugar Cookies & Computer Code by Kris Jacen and Christmas Prince by RJ Scott.

Jeff interviews John Solo, who provided the voice for the first book in his Codename: Winger series. John talks about working on Tracker Hacker, which was his first young adult novel. They also discuss how John got involved in narrating audiobooks, his process for recording and what kinds of characters are in his wheelhouse. John also talks about what new audiobooks are coming soon.

This week Jeff interviews TJ Klune and Kirt Graves. Ravensongthe sequel to TJ's best selling Wolfsong, releases on Tuesday, July 31. TJ discusses what readers can look forward to in Ravensong, which takes place before, during and after the events in the first book. TJ also discusses what's still to come in the Green Greek series.

Kirt relates how he got into audiobook narration, how he got the Wolfsong job (which was his first) and the recording of that book. Kirt and TJ also discuss how their collaboration works.

Other topics include what draws readers to Joe and Ox, the length of books and why TJ likes long stories. Both of them discuss what's in their futures as well, including TJ's upcoming The Extraordinaries series and October's The Bones Beneath My Skin.
