Jeff kicked off the show with writing updates before giving a shoutout to the SkullFace Project, which is a creation of artist Matthew O'Brien. It combines his love of art, music, history, celebrity and current events.

The proposed TV pilot Truth Slash Fiction (which the guys absolutely love) became an official selection for both ITVFest-Independent Television Festival and the New York Television Festival.

Jeff talked about the new comic book, The Backstagers, which chronicles the behind the scenes adventures of a high school stage crew whose members cover the LGBTQ spectrum. Will reviewed Marriage of Inconvenience by M.J. O'Shea, which is her third Dreamspun Desires book in 2016. Jeff and Will also discuss their sixty day fitness goal to eat right in advance of GRL.

C.S. Poe joins the show as part of the 2016 GRL Blog Tour and talks about her latest book, The Mystery of Nevermore, as well as her time teaching in Japan. Next A.J. Truman is interviewed about his Browerton University series and makes some book and Netflix recommendations.

Jeff opens with the announcement that the Love Is Proud anthology, which benefits Equality Florida's fund for the victims and their families of the Pulse nightclub shooting, is now out. In addition, he gives some updates on his writing week.

In podcast news, the show is now distributed on iHeartRadio's podcast network. Listeners are also encouraged to like the show on Facebook where we've been experimenting with Facebook Live and Will posts pictures of hot guys reading.

Jeff is participating in Cycle for the Cause: The Northeast AIDS Ride for the sixth year. Proceeds benefit HIV/AIDS Services at the LGBT Center in NYC.

Jeff and Will interviewed Joanna Penn earlier in the week about her non-fiction books for authors. Joanna's interview will air August 8 and 15. It's loaded with great information for authors and is a peek inside the author business that readers should also find interesting.
