Jeff and Will get started by talking about the surreal week of interviews they did for the podcast. In addition, they announced the final total in the Readers & Writers for LGBT Chechens auction that recently ended.

Kit Williamson and John Halbach, the guys behind the Eastsiders series stop by to talk about the Kickstarter they're running to fund season three. They've got details on a way for listeners and supporters to win a great prize this week.

The Dirty Dancing remake and the season finale of Arrow are discussed.

The guys also interview the duo that make up the writing team of Ari McKay. They talk about their latest book, Breaking Bonds, which is part of the Dreamspun Desires line. In addition, we get their origin story, how they approach collaborating and what's coming up later for them. There's also a bonus 10 minutes of the interview, which appears in the podcast feed, on YouTube as well as the shownotes page.

Jeff reviews The Senator's Secret by K.C. Wells and Deceived, the second book in the Mind Agents series, by Igor Max.

The Eastsiders season three Kickstarter is discussed as is a delightful preview of a short film called In a Heartbeat, about a gradeschooler who is literally outed by his heart.

The guys then wrap up the TV season with a look back on the CW superheroes, SpeechlessThe Big Bang TheorySuperstoreThe Voice and The Arrangement.

Rick R. Reed is welcomed to discuss his spring releases Perils of IntimacyUnhinged and Orientation as well as his writing journey and what's coming up later this year.

Jeff & Will are both under the weather, but power through for this week's episode!

Jeff offers some updates from his writing week. The guys discuss other podcasts that have recapped the RT Booklovers Convention and recommend  people check out episodes from Smart Podcast, Trashy Books and Kobo Writing Life Podcast.

Will reviews Served Hot by Annabeth Albert. The guys talk about the cancellation of The Real O'Neals along with other TV shows they are watching--Nate & Jeremiah by Design and Team Ninja Warrior. Jeff also talks about the string of musicals that have been announced for network TV, including Jesus Christ Superstar on NBC as well as A Christmas Story and Rent on Fox. Then Will discusses the movies he watched this week-- Esteros, The Way He Looks and Akron.

Jeff talks briefly about the reviews for Somewhere on Mackinac. The guys then discuss the master class in plotting they took with Cherry Adair to kick off their week at the Romantic Times Booklovers Convention in Atlanta.

The Tammy Middleton Autism Awareness Month auction final total is revealed. Jeff reminds everyone that the Readers & Writers for LGBT Chechens auction is underway through Saturday, May 13.

The show's new patrons are thanked: Lindey, Sarah and Andrea.

Jeff reviews At the Edge of the Universe by Shaun David Hutchinson and The Solder's Scoundrel by Cat Sebastian.

Jeff & Will talk in detail about their experience at RT17, including the panels they attended, people they talked with and the workshop on podcasting they led. They also reveal the giveaway for an RT17 tote bag filled with books at swag that listeners in the U.S. and Canada can register to win via a Rafflecopter on the shownotes page.
