Will shouts out Pride Month programming from our friends at the Regency romance podcast Tea & Strumpets. Jeff unveils a new partnership with audiobook retailer Libro.fm.

The guys talk about TV and movies they've been watching, including Prideland from PBS Voices, Mélange from Logo and the Netflix film The Half of It. Jeff reviews the new graphic novel from DC Comics, You Brought Me The Ocean, by author Alex Sanchez and illustrator Jul' Maroh.

Alex and Jul' join Jeff to talk about their collaboration on You Brought Me the Ocean, including how they came to the project and what they hope readers take away from this reboot of Aqualad's origin story. Alex and Jul' also talk about the anniversaries of their trailblazing works: Jul's Blue Is the Warmest Color, celebrating 10 years in 2020and Alex's Rainbow Boys, celebrating 20 years in 2021.

Jeff & Will remind everyone that the May Book Club episode, featuring Clare London's “Romancing the Rough Diamond,” premieres on Tuesday, May 26. Jeff also reveals the guests who are part of the podcast's Pride month celebration.

The guys review the new documentary “What Women Want: Gay Romance” before documentarian Charlie David shares his thoughts on the film and what it was like to assemble it from all the footage he shot at GayRomLit in Alberquque last year. Charlie also has details about his new series, “Avocado Toast,” which also recently debuted.

Jesi Lea Ryan joins Jeff for a conversation about her books “Surreal Estate” and “Love Magic” where she talks about the inspiration for those stories, some of which come from her own life. Jesi also shares what got her started writing as well as what's coming up next for her.

Emma Scott discusses her book Someday, Someday, including the research she had to do in order to write about the many elements the book tackles, including opioid addiction and conversion therapy. Emma also talks about what got her started with writing and her shift from fantasy to romance.
