Jeff & Will kick off the show talking about everything that happened on December 1. They were guests on Rachael Herron's How Do You Write? podcast, which is the first time they've talked about their writing journeys and their collaboration. Jeff & Will recap the week, which included wrapping up revisions and updating websites.

Two noteworthy events happen on Friday, December 1. Jeff & Will reveal the cover for The Hockey Player's Heart, the book they co-wrote, on Love Bytes Reviews. There'll be a giveaway there for people to take advantage of as well. Also, December 1 begins the Rainbow Advent Calendar, which will feature a different LGBT romance each day for readers to pick up.

Jeff & Will jointly review A Home for the Holidays by Joe Cosentino and narrated by Joel Leslie. Will reviews Santa's Naughty Helper by Ari McKay and Up for the Challenge by Devon McCormack & Riley HartJeff discusses, Call Me By Your Name by Andre Aicman and narrated by Armie Hammer as well as Wait for Me by Kris Jacen.

Jeff & Will sit down with Devon McCormack and Riley Hart in an interview that was recorded at October's GayRomLit retreat. Devon and Riley talk about how they started writing together, what's coming up next year and much more. Jeff & Will recap their writing week with updates on Jeff's Codename: Winger #3 as well as their co-written book, The Hockey Player's Heart, which now has a publication date of January 15, 2018.

Jeff reviews The Queen & The Homo Jock King by TJ Klune and Harmonious Hearts 2017, an anthology of LGBTQ+ YA stories written by authors aged fourteen to twenty-one. Will reviews Lace Covered Compromise by Silva Violet and Two for Trust by Elle Brownlee. Together, the guys talk about Santa's Husband, a children's book written by Daniel Kibblesmith with illustrations by AP Quach.

Jeff interviews Adam Reynolds and Chaz Harris, the creators of the Promised Land children's book. They discuss the origin of that book as well as their new project, Maiden Voyage, which has a Kickstarter running through November 13.

NaNoWriMo, or National Novel Writing Month, gets underway on Wednesday and Jeff & Will discuss how Jeff's being a rebel this time out.

An Entertainment Weekly story on "The Moonlight Effect" is discussed, along with the movies the article covers.

Jeff interviews his co-authors from the Changing on the Fly: The Second Period charity anthology. Heather Lire, V.L. Locey and RJ Scott discuss why the anthology is back for a second year, their stories from the anthology and what's coming up next for each of them.

We talk about what brought them to GRL this year, what they've thought of the event so far with day two at a close. They also tell people who may be considering making a trip to GRL why they should make the trip. Plus, Chris and Garett tell us what's coming up next.

Jeff & Will kick off the show talking about Jeff's new book, Tracker Hacker, which releases on Tuesday, October 17. They discuss the blog tour, how he's been creating posts, and the promo video he shot.

Brandilyn stops by with recommendations with a spotlight on Felice Stevens.

Jeff reviews the new anthology Myths, Moons & Mayhem: Paranormal Gay Menage and Erotic Romance, which was collected by Dale Cameron Lowry. The guys also review the YouTube show Danny The Manny.

This week's GayRomLit Retreat is previewed as the guys discuss the schedule of events they're participating in as well as what they are looking forward to. The podcast will have several special broadcasts and listeners should keep an eye on Facebook and Twitter for specific details.

The 2017 GRL Blog Tour wraps up with A.E. Via who discusses her new book, her first foray into paranormal, and talks about her venture into publishing new authors. She also got a giveaway for the new book along with a swag pack.

Jeff & Will kick off the show talking about their writing activities for the week before revealing they they are not going to be able to attend Read with Pride Northwest as they'd planned to.

National Coming Out day is Wednesday, October 11 and they discussed why the day continues to  be important. They also announced a second book is coming from the Promised Land creators. The Kickstarter for Maiden Voyage begins October 11 and they encouraged listeners to back the project.

Dani from Love Bytes Reviews joins the show to discuss a number of authors she's been reading lately that she's enjoyed, plus two books that are coming up soon that she's looking forward to.

Jeff reviews The Lawrence Brown Affair and The Ruin of a Rake, both by Cat Sebastian, as well as the recently released gay hockey romance charity anthology Changing on the Fly: The Second Period. Will reviews City Boy by A. E. Wasp.

The 2017 GRL Blog Tour continues with Meghan Maslow who discusses her new book (which she's giving away to one lucky listener) and tells us what she loves about going to GayRomLit.

The podcast begins with a recap of what Jeff's been up to as he works on various aspects of three Codename: Winger books.

The charity anthology Changing on the Fly: The Second Period, which benefits the You Can Play project, releases on October 4. The anthology features four terrific new stories by Jeff, Heather Lire, V.L. Locey and RJ Scott.

The guys briefly recapped their trip to Sacramento, where they'll likely move in 2018.

Jeff & Will congratulate Derek & Romaine for winning Best LGBTQ Podcast in the 12th Annual People's Choice Podcast Awards. They also give a shout out to one of their new favorite podcasts, Talk of the Toon, which recaps Masters of the Universe episodes.

Christina from Christina Bookshelf stops by to talk about her recent focus on debut authors.

Jeff & Will review the Matthew Bourne production of The Red Shoes, which just wrapped up its U.S. premiere in Los Angeles.

Jeff talks to Author Marshall Thornton and voice artist Joel Leslie about their collaboration on the audiobook of Femme, Marshall's 2016 novel that was nominated as Best Gay Romance at the Lambda Literary Awards. They also discuss what Marshall and Joel have coming up next.

The American Library Associations' Banned Book Week runs September 24-30 and the guys talk about some of the 2016 stats on banned books. Jeff also discusses one of the books on the top 10 list that he's read, David Levithan's Two Boys Kissing.

Lisa from The Novel Approach talks with Jeff about what the blog is planning for Banned Book Week and also offers up a couple of book recommendations.

Will reviews The Ruin of a Rake by Cat Sebastian. Jeff & Will also review the French coming-of-age film, Being 17.

Addison Albright stops by as part of the 2017 GRL Blog Tour. She talks about her Vows Box Set along with the arrival of Til Death Do Us Part on audiobook. She's also got a giveaway for listeners.

Suzanne Brockmann returns to the show. This time she discusses her author journey, which includes making sure her son could find himself in her books.

Jeff & Will kick off the show talking about the edits they worked on this week for both their co-written book, The Hockey Player's Heart and Jeff's second Codename: Winger book. Jeff also talked about the results he got using the transcription functions in Dragon Dictation software.

Jeff encouraged listeners to donate to Cycle for the Cause for this year.

Jay from Joyfully Jay talked with Jeff about the details for the blog's Reading Challenge Month, which kicks off September 4. She also recommended books by E.J. Russell and Eden Winters. They guys also talked about the reading categories and how they might fill them.

Will highlighted the recently released books in the new Dreamspun Beyond line. Jeff reviewed the audio book of Martin Wilson's We Now Return to Regular Life. He also talked about a couple summertime viewing options with ABC's reboot of Battle of the Network Stars and CBS's asteroid thriller with a pretty cast, Salvation.

Trina Lane stopped by as part of the 2017 GRL Blog Tour to talk about her upcoming release of An Imperfect Union as well as what she's looking forward to at this year's retreat.

They congratulate the winners who received a copy of Bru Baker's audiobook of Tall, Dark & Deported and they provide a recap of the menage/poly recommendations that listeners provided.

The podcast has been nominated in the 12th Annual People's Choice Podcast Awards. Jeff discusses this year's Cycle for the Cause ride and asks for donations to support the LGBT Center's critical HIV/AIDS programs. Listeners are also reminded about the RGRTransAwareEvent that continues at Rainbow Gold Reviews through August 27.

The guys discuss Amazon's original series, The Last Tycoon before Will reviews Out of the Shadows, the latest book from K.C. Wells, who then joins them for an interview. Turning to movies, they guys talk about the noir thriller Kiss Me, Kill Me and the documentary Dancer. Will continues the film discussion with Get Out and documentary Doomed.

Jeff interviews Alex Miska as part of the 2017 GRL Blog Tour. Alex talks about her Moore Romance series as well as what she's looking forward to at GRL and what to expect from her later this year.

Romance Awareness Month is celebrated with a look at some real life couples. Jeff & Will also talk about the short film, In a Heartbeat, which was released on July 31.

Jeff interviews Jay Bell about his Something Like... series, which now includes a film and a comic book adaptation of the first book, Something Like Summer. Jay talks about the book's origins, how it became a series and how fans helped push Summer into new formats. Plus, with the series wrapping up, he discusses what's coming next.

The guys open the show with the news that their first co-written novel is now under contract and The Hockey Player's Heart is expected to be out as a Dreamspun Desire in early 2018. Jeff also talks about the edits he's working on plus an update on his experiments with dictation.

Andrew Grey is congratulated for his accomplishment winning the RWA Centennial Award for publishing one hundred books.

Jeff also talks about the spiffy covers that Sarina Bowen has for the Thai editions of Him and Us. Will discusses Castlevania on Netflix.
